The Project tasked was to design a 3 piece unified set of tools for outdoor purposes combined with the design identity of medical equipment.
The Hatchet (Product A) is designed to be versatile, able for cutting wood, and the secondary blade underneath the head, if the user would hold the hatchet just below it, is designed to help skin or sharpen bits of wood that would be otherwise difficult and dangerous with the head.
The Canteen (Product B) is also designed to be just as versatile. Its accompanied by a strap to carry it on your other equipment, and a filter a third of the way in to provide clean water from the unknown water sources.
Made from stainless steel, lid is has a flat interior and can be used as a small pan, The filter and its insert may also be removed so that the bottom casing can be used as a cooking pot.
The fire-starter is made with polyurethane plastic that is very slightly flexible. the interior is lined with iron and has a flint piston inside of it.
Remove the strap, then the cap, press upon the side touch-points near the top and then press the flint piston into your tinder (supplied in the rear cap) to make super-hot molten metal sparks.
